How it reads scans
wtfile uses the text recognition built into Windows, so scans are read on your PC and never uploaded. It reads the languages installed in Windows.
Clean, straight scans read best. A faint or skewed scan gets a lower confidence score and waits in Review instead of getting a wrong name.

Questions
Do I need special scanner software?
No. Point your scanner or scan app at a folder wtfile watches, and new scans are renamed as they arrive.
What about photos taken with my phone camera?
Camera photos are named by the date they were taken, like any other photo. For paper documents, use a scan app (most phones have one built in): it saves a PDF, which wtfile reads.
Is it a subscription?
